The cover is designed for cameras with D-shaped handles – handles that are attached to the camera at both ends. As with the Eagle 1, the cover is secured to the handle using two neoprene straps. A new feature is that the “horns” from Cine/RT or UDM have an opening at the front and are integrated into the cover. As with the Eagle 1, the system has a modular design and can be extended also at the rear. There are separate covers for the viewfinder and monitors. 
Another change from its predecessor, the Eagle 1,  is the option to extend the cover at the rear using the front extensions.
