I currently have all covers made in Bavaria, Germany.
The processed materials also largely come
from Germany.
This of course leads to higher costs and therefore higher prices. Since I assume that everyone wants to be well paid and sustainable production methods are playing an increasingly important role, I hope that my customers will understand.
The advantage of this method of production is that I have short production routes and can also respond better to individual requests. At the moment I mostly produce to order. The production then takes about 6 weeks until I can deliver
can. Until then it just shouldn't rain. :)
How did Rainwings come about?
As a cameraman, I have always wondered why all camera assistants and cameramen usually use backpack rain covers and plastic bags when it rains and rarely use the existing rain covers. However, most products are complicated to use and do not adapt to different lengths or designs. Time is a very valuable good on a film set and any conversion must be done as quickly as possible. Convinced that I could develop a cover that could make it better, I started working on these problems some time ago. The result is the "Rawings Eagle", a rain cover that wraps around the camera like two wings and can be put on in less than a minute.
